Really stuck what ones are good I am complete beginner, I need something that will be good for a newbie to learn.
I would like to play a mix of music when I am able to.

Yamaha PSR-E243
Does not have touch response or weighted keys.
£125.

Yamaha PSRE34.
Has touch response but not weighted.
£167.

M-Audio Keystation 88 MK2.
Semi-Weighted and touch response but needs a pc setup to use it.
£140.

Yamaha NP-11.
Has touch response but not weighted.
£167.

I am learning more to the M-Audio Keystation 88 at this time.

Quick question about the Yamaha PSR's onboard computer does really help you learn or just a gimmick?

Thank you for any advice you can give me.
Cheers.

NOTHING, in that price range, is anything any of us here would exactly call "GOOD." :p

If you're looking to start out learning to play piano style then take a look at the Yamaha DGX-640 or one of the lower end Casio Privias.

If you're looking to play more organ and synth style keys, take a look at some stuff around $300 to $400 and up. For instance Yamaha PSR-e433 or Casio WK6500 or WK7500 or XW-P1 or CTK 6000 or CTK 7000.

Honestly, even for a total beginner, most sub $200 keyboards are little more than childrens' toys.

PS >>> M-Audio keyboards are total crap. I wouldn't recommend one to my worst enemy...

Hi ! Look out for Casio CDP or PRIVIA Series of fully weighted 88 keys digital pianos. Thwy offer a bang for the buck and are great for beginners/intermediae playing !

I'll echo the sentiments about the Casio Privia. I was very impressed after hearing it. Never played it, but I hear it feels good too.
