It would happen once every 2-3 gigs: Kronos2 73 with weighted keys, it would honk for 2 seconds, and crash to a black screen indicating I should power down, and reboot after 10 seconds. now it 2-3 times per night! Last night, it crashed about 6 times and in crucial times of keyboard solos etc.
People have weighed in saying to go in and reseat the ram, and check all wiring for dust and otherwise bad connections. I have done that. I have updated the firmware to 3.2.2, and done a reset when it loaded the firmware. the problem is getting worse, and it's only about 3 years old. It's a beast, but I love it when it's working properly.
Has Korg weighed in anywhere on this? If so, I haven't seen it. Chat GPT suggested I replace the SSD hard drive and get the software package from Korg. Has anyone done this? It seems like something I can do, but will Korg give me the software if I'm not a dealer? I'm off to find that out now. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm open.
Thanks in advance.

Check the warranty, you might be lucky to be still within it.

If you can get into the heap of junk that is the Korg Forum search there for resolutions as I have seen quite a few having the same issue. Accessing the forum is a nightmare.

You need to seek out an Authorized Korg service center . They are the only people that can consult the one guy at Korg who knows all the answers. This keyboard uses a Linux computer and the main board (keyboard section ) plugs into that. So you have two major computing systems prone to failure and mis-communication. Very complicated to troubleshoot.
