I recently pulled out my old Korg KARMA (2001) again and started comparing it to some of today’s AI-based music tools. I’m curious how people here look at it in hindsight – especially in relation to how the KARMA engine later evolved into the M3 and Kronos. Do you think the “AI-like” comparison makes any sense, or is that stretching it too far? Would be interested to hear from people who actually spent time with it back in the day or still use it.
