But Heart are more like jaw dropping or stick out tongue:p

Yeah I know he did Ray but I will use any excuse to talk about Heart, and the incredibly beautiful and talented Wilson sisters. Ann is my favourite female rock vocalist of all time, daylight second.

Their FOH tech mixes me too. Mushroom Recorders is still alive as 'Afterlife Studios'.
Got to perform The Rodeo Song with Gaye Delorme for two decades.
Baldry moved here.Played in his band too.

The Rodeo Song w/ESO? Too funny man. These newer funny people rely on shtick, and it's suitable for TV?
The Rodeo Song actually gets airplay in the UK,where objectionable language is tolerated.

AND there's room for solos, hooray they get to play too!
That guy could really play.

Yes Anvil is/was a real Canadian band and today the lead singer drives a truck for a catering service in Burlington ON...

They did a rockumentary on them that's currently on Netflix.

Living the dream :D :D :D

I think you are taking the piss!
Nah mate I confess I knew nothing about them before watching the doco but it is an interesting and bittersweet story. Definitely pioneers of metal who have left a surprising legacy as the intro to the movie articulates.

Highly recommended film, whether or not this type of music is your bag.

Funny you mention Rita (R.I.P), Gary. My daughter-in-law sang back-up with her a few times around the Maritimes.

However, may I submit a bit of U.K. 'culture'.
