Dgx-670 wont work with smart pianist

I have tried Wi-Fi, lightning port and MIDI and I either get a “communication with usb device failed” or a “instrument not supported” message. Any help?

Turns out the dgx isn’t compatible. On that note, what can I use for sheet music on my ipad
