Hello, I am fairly new to keyboard forums so excuse me if I am asking questions already asked. Is it possible to recreate the B3 Hammond Sound on Dwight Yoakam 'Fast As You' on a Casio CT-X3000?
Arguably the biggest contributor to the Hammond sound is proper use of the Leslie rotating speaker (or simulator); fast/slow/transition. Today's "clonewheel" organs, besides all the Hammond features like drawbars, percussion, chorus and vibrato, simulate the Leslie. Your Casio may have a decent "dry" organ sound, or may include a "fixed" Leslie speed, but unless you wanted to go a very expensive route (doubtful by your choice of keyboard), the answer would be "no."Hello, I am fairly new to keyboard forums so excuse me if I am asking questions already asked.
