i pad or Samsung

Planning to buy new tablet. Have Yamaha PSR 775 . Should I get Apple or Android to get me started ?. 80 yr old just playing for own enjoyment to avoid Coved cabin fever . Experienced player but not up on connecting computer, midi etc. like Cntry, Big band, easy listening, Celtic, etc. Appreciate suggestions.

Definitely go for an ipad or an iphone. Apple is still pretty much years ahead of Android when it comes to music apps.

I would also suggest not to skimp on the inbuilt storage.

Connecting an iPad to your S775 is dependent upon which model you might buy. Some iPads have a Lightning connection and with these models a Camera Connection Kit is required c£35. New iPads like the Pro have USB and hence just a cable will be required to connect.

I Pad is the only way to go. I have both a Korg and Yamaha keyboards and the I Pad works well with both.
