IPad connection issues

iPad usb c no longer connects audio to interface.

Taking iPad to Apple today.

The cables and interfaces use different cables. Audio doesn’t connect to the interface.

Korg, iRig Duo, Roland Duo Capture.

iPad connection did perform well and is now intermittent.

Charges battery, midi works.

Looking for options to reduce USB C wear as a possible solution.

My previous iPad Pro 2018 had a simpliar issue.

I paid coverage for this iPad Pro. I’m taking it to Apple tonight. Hope the coverage replacement results in a replacement. But I need to eliminate USB failure.

Update.
Apple rep suggested deleting and reinstalling. This work from a fresh app installation.

Tried using backup. It has the same issue.

I’m reinstalling each app and checking the performance. When not working properly the audio from YouTube doesn’t route through the interface.

AUM installed and recognizes the iRig pro inputs and outputs and routes the audio correctly.

I've had several issues with ipad, not with audio, but they're not picking up Bluetooth, even with latest ios.
I've not used apple for music control, but would not even try. I had issues with win xp, with latency. The most stable system I have is win 98. I canmot believe how both ms and apple are letting consumers down with sht product support. They just take the money and run. I've compete control over win 98 install and nobody controls it from the net. It's great. Modern stuff is rubbish and forever fails.
