Ketron SD90 - unwanted sound occurs always C3 is played

Hello all,

Lately I bought a SD90 Pro live module 2nd hand with still valid gurantee.
While I am playing around with a midi keyboard or accordion attached I realized, that on the key of C3 (and only there) I get a additional sound after approximatly 1 second after the key press. The sound is a synthetic string sound I would say and sounds a triad higher then the played C3.
This occurs while the 2nd voice is off. And also only on this specific note - nowhere else.

What might be wrong there? Anyone experienced similare phenomenon’s?

Can I fix it somehow or is this a bug with the hardware module?

Back up the settings, do a factory reset and if it still occurs after that contact Ketron support.

I can not find the factory reset procedure in the users manual.
What trick is it to perform it on thd SD90?

Any more tipps for a newbie?

For SD90 Soft Reset – Hold down Player1 and Save. Select Factory Startup and Reboot.

Stefan, not sure where you are, but you should also be aware that in Canada, there is no Ketron warranty support (owners had to send them to Italy on their own dime. Main reason we (and our competitors, L&M) stopped carrying them). In the USA, I believe there's 1 place on the East coast (New York?) that deals and services them. If you're in Europe though (service in UK and Italy at least), then you should be good!

I am ok now after having got serveral packages to try for upload.

Maybe on more question into this round.
Is it normal, that all styles have in variation piano playing? this seems a little odd to me as piano is not the first instrument I would think of in all various styles....
