Just wondering if keyboards usually have built in effects such as delay or reverb.
Or even better some sort of looper with overdub function. Ive always used mostly analog monophonic synths so im not familiar at all with other types of keyboards. So im wondering if i need to buy a looper pedal and or other effect pedals also?

Hi

Im in norway. i only need something to practice on with some decent piano sounds.
the cheaper the better. as long as it has a looping and overdub function and/or delay/reverb fx.
doesnt have to be very long. maybe 10-20 sec.

Most modern keyboards over $300 have some basic fx built in these days, but it doesn't hurt to buy a pedal or two anyway.

I own a couple of these for layering fx on top of my synths.

I paid less than half that price a few years back, but inflation?

Check the used market and maybe you'll find a deal. :)

Maybe i can rephrase my question to:

Which keyboard is closest to serve as a looping device? If anyone at all?

Roland Juno DS has a step sequencer that works as a looper.

Any synth with a step sequencer would fit the bill.

Juno DS looks nice.

I also found the yamaha reface cs has a looper, alot simpler but works for me as i dont need a whole lot of tracks.
But i think its made for kids or midgets cause its so small.
