MK-4902 AND A NEWBIE

Hi I came across one of these and got it cheap for my kids. The instructions show this can be connected to the computer. I am betting this is way before the USB port. I see Ebay has the MIDI USB connections. Anyway, can I hook this up through the USB and somehow operate it with a free program? Thanks. Instruction attachment included.

Hook it up to your computer with one of these:

And use these softwares to make music with it.

As long as it's functional it should operate just fine with this setup.
