Hi. My name is Paul, and I bought a Roland D20 back in 1989 after spending my year off wages on that instead of saving for my 1st year at University. One of my better decisions.
Anyway, I have recently had it renovated after fairly limited use for several years. I noted that a lot of the sounds that had been there were gone (the performance ones in particular), and after realizing my absolute favourite Warm Pad Fade was gone, I decided action was necessary. A bit of googling told me I probably needed a UM One midi interface, so I have bought one.
Now, I have questions ... but will find the appropriate "hello I am IT illiterate" thread and cry for help there
