Need help getting sound out of yamaha mm6 in Reason

I have followed the instructions of a Yamaha forum. It was useful. I still don't have a sound
coming out of the mm6 yet.

I have the cables hooked up correctly. I have the local turned to off. Now what do I need to do?
I have a timeline.. I have an online class right now and in the next week I need to use audio in Reason.

Local should be turned to ON unless you are planning to use a sequencer to send sound data to the keyboard from your computer.

Line Out L and R should be hooked to an amplified speaker or PA or keyboard amp.

Check your volume controls on both the keyboard and the amp and make sure they are set to about 20% volume to start.
