We all have strict ethics about respecting copyrights these days, and selling a lemon under false pretenses is as much a theft as any other.
Nobody likes to have his music pirated but it's OK to dump a boat anchor on a newbie for triple it's value?

They are armed nowadays...both with guns,rifles and stunguns...but it took a long time for them to get armed, it didnt work in the long run to to be unarmed, violence have eskalated terribly, its no longer effective to blow in the whistle....what todo when a couple of PCP heads attacks them in full rage? -There's a reason British Bobbies sometimes never carry a sidearm.

The UK does indeed have more armed police officers now than in the past but they are usually assigned to specialist teams. The regular cop on the beat or on mobile patrol does not carry firearms or is likely to have been trained in their use.

My experience with solid-state electronics, is that as long as they aren't powered up, they will survive a dousing with FRESH, UNCONTAMINATED water (like rainwater) pretty well. I think you can expect at least a few years of trouble-free use out of your Pa1000. A spritzing of the contacts with electrical contact cleaner couldn't hurt.
In my OPINION, a fair settlement from the insurance company would be partial replacement value. This would compensate you for potentially shortened life or potential unreliable operation caused by the flood. Then you could decide to keep using your current board, or sell it (preferably with full disclosure!) and put the proceeds toward a pristine replacement. My $.02.

I apologize for not being particularly helpful, and I'm glad to hear the kb dried out and is usable again.
I don't do outdoor gigs anymore for this reason, it's my rule #1 when I sign on with a band. I make exceptions for festivals that have proper production and experience with all-weather shows.

Regular Police, here in the UK, do not carry firearms. As it stands that is the domain of specialist Police firearms units.
UK Police only carry guns in certain locations such as Government buildings, outside Military bases, major transport hubs etc.
We have NO, routine Police patrols, No Police on the beat, No Police routinely patrolling Major road routes.
Traffic management and speed monitoring are outsourced.
We have teenagers on electric motorcycles (these are illegal) playing chicken and riding en-masse on the road yet when the Police try to stop them and one is injured there is a public outcry.
As it is the Police here are institutionally racist, misogynistic, corrupt and totally impossible to contact for routine issues.
