Painting your keyboard

Hello everyone,
I was thinking to paint my keyboard and get a perfectly smooth finish(just like a brand new one). My Roland GW7 has silver grey body, but i would like to make it black and also customize it by writing on it my initials and make the logo of my band.
Have a look at these customized and modded keyboards, they just look awesome. Does anyone know how to do something of this sort with keyboards?

They all look disguisting to me. Especially the blue trinity and the circuis colored LE.

I'd advise you not to try such things cause i bet you'll end up with a hidious keyboard in the end
