HiDepends upon what you want to do.
Hi. I just want to use with the BK-9 software. Thx, JimDepends upon what you want to do.
Now I'm really confusedThe BK9 apps haven't been updated in a very long time. Officially, they are only supported up to iOS version 8. I have successfully run them (but not "stress tested" them) on even iOS 16, but they do not run on the iPad I have on 17.
It can be hard to find used iPads that haven't been updated to a recent OS, but my suggestion would be to look for a recent iPad that either hasn't yet been updated to iOS 17 (which is only a few months old), or one of the models that cannot be updated beyond version 16 (or older), from a seller who has a return policy so you can confirm it's working for you.
everymac.com and wikipedia are sources for info about which versions of iOS run on which iPad models.
