Hoping -some clever person out there can help------HOW do you exit from the registration banks? and get back to 'manual' - the only way I have found is to switch off and back on again.---it is a real pain because once in a 'registration' there does not seem to be anyway to change it. other than switch off----back on (now in manual mode) ---set it all up again. Also does anyone have or know of anyone who can supply downloads of different instruments-?--

Under the display in the Mode section, press Organ, Piano or Synth. That's my best guess, anyway. Let me know.

Although you can't download new samples (or models) into the VR09, there are, in fact, many "hidden" sounds which can be accessed using this freeware Mac/PC editor...
Thanks for that----yes that works. Have spent last few hours setting registrations for one of our groups sessions. ---the VR offers various options on how to select instruments and set regs.-----some are a faff---I have found that using the lit mode buttons to first select 'RH' seems to work best.
Gents thanks. However the tail continues------after playing about with the board for two weeks it became clear that it had a fault with several symptoms ---the worst of which was when playing a 'g' chord ---the chord kept playing---I had to switch it off to stop it!. There were 'ghost' sounds behind the chosen sounds sometimes ---very of putting. When committing organ sounds to a registration ---when recalled the drawbars were different from that stored.
Anyway-----sent it back to thomans----they sent out a replacement ---by DHL ----DHL lost it !. SO 40days later I was given a refund ----I immediately ordered a new VR-09 from gear for music----it was ordered 1730 Friday evening---promised Monday----it arrived Saturday. My colleagues in our wee band comment on the clarity and quality of the sounds. BUT I am now suspicious of the design/build-----it has sometimes very faint ghosting--- the volume output seems to degrade through time (we play for around 3hours in total) ---- yet to be proved conclusively. I wonder if anyone else has had any problems with their VR-09 ----it sniffs of 1) poor design in the soft/firmware area. I know other drawbar organs are almost twice the price and can't expect too much but I think that too many corners have been cut.
