I was talking about the speaker wires between the left and right speaker when I was referring to polarity. Make sure red goes to red and black to black.

The pattern sequencer is on the right side of the keyboard. It controls the accompaniment.

Just hit the play button and it should start playing a tune.

Or you could just play the factory demo tunes.

Playing the Demo Songs

1.Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears.

2.Move the cursor to "DEMO PLAY," and press the [ENTER] button.
The DEMO MENU screen appears.

3.Use the [K] [J] buttons to select a demo song, and press the [ENTER]
button.
Demo song playback starts.

No data for the music that is played will be output from MIDI OUT connector and
USB COMPUTER port

As for leaving speakers on all the time? Not a good idea.

What I use is a switchable power bar.

First I switch on the power which turns on the speakers.

Then I switch on the keyboard and my modules.

Finally I switch on my mixer so there's no nasty thump from powering on.

Shutting down I do the same procedure in reverse order.

In your case, You'd switch on the power bar first and then the keyboard and shut down in reverse.

Thanks Gary, just look on sides, don't see anything, sure on side? Maybe have screenshot.

For me, just keyboard and speakers, two rounds of on and off, so power bar would not reduce that to one, for me correct?

BTW, on upper left rectangle says, Mode and Keyboard of the Juno, there must be some sticky something as white dust just stays and clintgs to that black rectangle section. But upper right rectange of Phrase pad, as well as all black that surrounds both of those dont have that sticky issue. Any idea on that? Just werid to have this one rectangle that collects dust.

Seriously man. At this point it's time to just RTFM and figure a few things out for yourself.

Next you'll be asking me why the sky is blue :D :D :D

Just enjoy your new keyboard :)

Thanks Biggles, so if I were.. just doing research, to buy the GT- 100m the sounds matches the individual pedals they make? No quality difference? I would think maybe there would be something in individual pedal.. the gT 100 is a simulation of the real pedals, right? And look their famous delay pedals with all the settings and knobs, that could be dialed into the GT 100?. I think the GT 100 seems great.. in sense .. so elegant.. if it came even at 90, 95% as good, convenice unbelivable. Does Boss distortion come close to Ibanez Tube screamer?

Kevs

There is nothing to stop having an all in one pedal board and adding in a specialist pedal like a Tube Screamer which is in a league of one, it is that good but only if it is the top of the range version.

The GT100 is an older model but still available as is the ME80 the flagship is the GT1000 which I have not tried, I am avoiding it as I know that I will want one.

Look at the reviews of all the all in ones and individual pedals before deciding as the choice overwhelming.

One final note about using a power bar to shut down completely.

The Juno DS has an external switching power supply that always stays connected and powered up unless you use a power bar.

Heat buildup destroys electronics.

The ability to completely power down the rig will extend the life of the electronics.
