Any advice on any type of module/board that can come close to a steel and pedal guitar? the M50 does a pretty good job but trying to get that "bend" sounds is tough unless using the joystick.... Should I buy a cheap sampler? Right now I'm using the PC88 Kurzweil and the Korg M50 which can get me 90% of the sounds I need.......

The best acoustic/steel guitar sounds I've heard are on the Roland XV modules. Many of the steel patches have velocity/aftertouch control over bends and pinches making them incredibly expressive. They don't really have a decent pedal steel patch, but there are plenty of decent waveforms and all Boss's COSM effects on board so you'd have all the tools to make one.
