What software do you recommend for a laptop in live gigs?

This is a very old thread. You should probably start your own and give details of what you have already (keyboard, software, computer+midi/audio interface if you have one) and what you want to do.

Hey guys. First post here.

I play 4 shows a week using an AX-7 hooked up to a PC laptop running brainspawn Forte, and it's rock solid. I can load all my VST's and patches straight from the studio for live use, with effects and all.

Highly recommend.

Ok, now what laptop do you have? Model, OS, specs?... Do you have a sound board?
