Can't type the plus symbol

I can type = and every other symbol, but the plus key doesn't work. I'm holding shift of course. I'm pretty well versed with pc's and I've tried to look up how to fix it with no avail. Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong.

Try it in F#m7 followed by B7
That has a nice feel.

Do take a look at the graphic next to our forum name.

To us pressing the Shift then any other button brings up a context driven menu.
