Casio CTK-2400: Aftertouch and/or Velocity?

Does the Casio CTK-2400 have Aftertouch and/or Velocity?

The manual mentions it as seen in the picture here, but I can't really under stand what the values mean.

Thanks.

The chart means it transmits and receives velocity when a key is pressed but not on the release of a key.

Also it recognizes aftertouch info on a received MIDI channel but does not generate it on a keypress and does not send aftertouch data on a MIDI channel.

O is Yes. X is No.

So what this all means is that if you play a note on the keyboard you will be able to express different volumes with each keystrike and record that info to a MIDI computer.

If you want to hear a sound from the keyboard using aftertouch you'll have to hook up a different controller with aftertouch and send the signal to the Casio thru MIDI.

Under no circumstances will you be able to play the Casio with aftertouch or record aftertouch from it.
