changing sounds on korg x3 with midi foot controller

Hi there,
I'm new on these pages. I have a Korg X3 (both rack version, both the keyboard) and I want to change the sounds on the rack module using a midi foot controller.
1) is it possibile?
2) if yes, is there a specific midi controller to be used?
3) i yes, could someone of you help me guiding through the setting up?

I made a serach in this forum but can't find anything... (maybe I've done the wrong searching, )

I'm not at my Korg ATM but if I recall correctly you can assign the foot pedal functions in one of the Global options menus. At least that's how it works on my TR.

My bad. I was referring to single pedal functions like sostenudo and sustain and simple program changes.

What I think you are actually looking for is a full blown MIDI foot controller for performances.

Something like this might fit the bill.

As far as actually setting it up and programming it, you'll have a few sleepless nights with manuals and MIDI specs
