E-MU short 49 as MIDI controler

Is it posible to use E-MU short 49 as MIDI controler.
There is no MIDi implementation chart for E-MU short 49, I've need one, if there anywhere?

If it has DIN MIDI ports then it should work to some degree. Most basic functions are hard coded into the MIDI specs.

To what degree of control other than playing from the keyboard would be part of the midi specs which I don't have and am not going to bother to download the manual to find out.
