External monitor

My tyros 2 screen does not function so I can mimic it by using an external monitor. My problem is when I tab to my usb stick and list the folders. I press the select button next to the scroll wheel and the folders open empty. What buttons do I need to use.

Why dont you just get the screen fixed?

It would cost more to fix than the keyboard is worth. I have figured it out now. This post can be closed.
