1 (or a pair) of QSC CP8's weigh nothing (well 21 lbs each) and 1000W peak each... and a really good amount of bottom end for an 8" (not as much as a KC, but less than 1/3 the weight, too)

Oh and in Canada at least 6 yr warranty vs 1 yr!!!

I'm glad I found this thread. I can relate. I took piano lessons as a youngster and hated them. I took lessons again around 20, but the instructor moved away, and I quit. Fast-forward 40+ years, and I purchased a DGX-670.

I have started taking Blues lessons online and have found that my body requires some help.

My wife has me on B12 and Vitamin D. She has suggested Turmeric, but I'm not taking it yet. I'm active (68), playing golf when the weather allows, street hockey, wallyball, and mountain biking.

My fingers at times ache, but I have found that stretching and Hanon exercises help for a warm-up. My right shoulder has caused me trouble and PT has given me exercises which I sometimes get around to doing, which help.

I had spinal surgery 3 years ago, and PT told me I'd be doing stretches every day for the rest of my life to function. I comply. Each morning after breakfast, I spend about 30 minutes doing multiple stretches, which include stretching my fingers.

I want to be able to play my keyboard when I get old, so I'm interested in others' suggestions and ideas to keep feeling young.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried using a Tens Unit?

Probably already mentioned this, however saves rewind.
A few of us suffer painful arthritic knuckles.
I take fish oil and magnesium as well as d3.
These give me huge relief.

Many other remedies and suggestions mentioned previously so maybe you should rewind (go to the start of this thread).

My own personal choice for loosening up my fingers is good old, street legal, government sanctioned marijuana ;) Truly one of mother nature's miracles :D

I take two tablets per day of Turmeric with Black Pepper.
another Cod Liver Oil
and another of Glucosamine.
plus a couple of Brazil Nuts for magnesium content.

I have Osteoarthritis quite badly so sleeping is difficult as is life generally. Heaven knows how bad I would be if I was not on the supplements.

I use a finger exerciser, a few buck off Amazon and it helps.

I have pain down the left side of my left hand

Pressing my hands together (like a praying gesture) at chest level gives some relief.

Some tens units have special gloves you can use to give yourself some tens therapy in the hands.
