Just a note to say Hello from the far South-East corner of London, England.
I'm in my late 40s and had a few piano lessons when I was kid, but didn't play for years and can't claim to be virtuoso or anything. A couple of years ago, I decided to get a couple of keyboards just to tinkle about on and am currently the proud owner of...
Novation X-Station 25 - for bass lines, lead lines and everything in between.
Roland XP-60 (fully expanded) - an a general sound bank, with sequencing capabilities.
Korg Z1 - a recent purchase, still to be explored.
...which I run through an old Yamaha AW2816.
I'm looking for...
Akai MPC500 - as a portable sampler / beatmaker.
Zoom RFX-2000 - a decent reverb for a decent price.
Zoom H2 - to take samples and live recordings with.
Decent speakers - probably Tannoy Reveals, if some come up for the right price on eBay.
...after which, I've promised her I won't buy any more gear - honest
