I ended up getting a CP50 in mint condition on Craigslist for under $600! It was a great deal and I am very happy with it.
Congratulations, hope you love it!

I do wish it had built in speakers
It's a professional quality stage piano. They don't come with built in speakers as they're intended for on-stage use, it's not related to the price, and you've got a great deal there, well done.

For anyone that said that it was impossible to meet all my conditions for less than $1000 - now you see it is possible to buy something great for the price of something not so great
Here is what I said:
I don't believe this is a realistic combination of requirements unless you're looking to buy second hand.

Notwithstanding your superfluous parting shot at us all, I bid you farewell and hope you have years of satisfaction out of your new piano.

I may not consider myself a good keyboardist but I do consider myself a good buyer. My policy has been to buy the best but used. That is, better than I can afford new in a used. For example a used Snap on rather than a new Stanley or a used mercedes rather than a new escort. But then it depends. I might buy the best new if it were significant to my profession instead of messing around or taking chances. I did however break that rule when I bought my p-85. I was desperate and I wanted it NOW so I bought it new at a music store chain. I knew I would hate myself in a year or so. I paid like 700 or 900, I forget. The salesman threw in a scissor stand, sustain pedal, cover, and midi interface. That was 2008 or 2009. I think I've seen them on ebay for 300 now, and the music store sites are like 599.00. Still I don't really have much regret. I could have saved 200 maybe if I looked around but it wasn't really worth the time. Now, I'm wondering about the sound comparisons. I was checking out the Yamahas vs Casios on youtube. I do like the "bass resonance" better on the casios thru my PC speakers but their yamahas don't sound the same as mine either. It could just be the PC speakers. Theirs sound dampened but the Casios also sound clunky at the attack to me. I think I did find that Yamaha changed their sound sometime after the p-45. I would like to see some more reviews and comparisons.
