Hi everyone. Don't look right at the sun without eye protection today. OK? OK!!

So, I bought a clean M3. Barely used. But some of the sounds are missing.

It's just a handful but I have no clue why.

I did a reinstall of the original internal patches, hypothetically back to stock, and it loaded them, but those sound are still missing.

Where did they go? Where can I find them? Who knows the answer to this mystery?

Right out of the gate, sounds A-000, A020 and A-022 are missing and a few more.

Any advice is truly appreciated!

Enjoy the music....made by REAL musicians, while you can!!

The previous owner probably purchased the sounds separately and didn't bother signing them over to you.

Thx for the help.

Aren't these patch positions I mentioned stock M3 sounds and not aftermarket?

And, if I reinstalled all of the original sounds, wouldn't all of the patches be there, except for just a weird handful?

I do appreciate the help.

It's a 12 year old board.

Licensing agreements may have changed over the years.

They may have been contractually obligated to remove certain patches.

Where are you getting the patch files from?

Hi. Thanks again.

I just want the stock sounds that came originally with the unit.

A000 should be there. It's not.

The original piano AAA.

If I reinstalled all the original patches from the M3 itself, as if I were starting fresh, they should all be there.

Yes? Nope.
