I will be purchasing a Yamaha Motif 6 within the next week and had a question on MIDI connections. I know that I'll be MIDI'ing IN to the Motif from the OUT of the DGX-500 (attempting to use the Motif as a sound module). My question is will I be able to play all of the Motif's sounds from the DGX's keyboard or is there a special connection/set up that is required. I'm currently using a Yamaha MM6, however, I cannot play all of the voices on the DGX via MIDI. I absolutley love the rhodes/wurly sounds the motif delivers and would love to play these sounds from the DGX's 88 board. Any input is certainly welcome.
