Hello to all. I've occasionally lurked in the forum and finally signed up tonight. I have a lifelong love of music and have played in different
groups from large orchestras to small four pieces. My newest experience is
trying to learn about digital recording and using VSTI's.
As you might tell from my screen name, I just love the warm sound of
a Hammond!

Hello there,

You've played in an orchestra? Sounds awesome! What orchestral instruments do you play?

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome!
Yes, in years past I played clarinet, sax, and bassoon in concert and orchestra settings. But outside of academic sessions, I played sax and then later moved to keyboards. I guess it stands to reason why some of my past favorite groups have been those with horn sections (such as EWF, TOP, etc.).
But my favorite instrument (to play)was my Hammond B3. I just don't miss trying to
load and unload all that weight (same thing about my old Yamaha CP70) lol !

Thank you webmaster! Sometime things happen but all is well that ends well!
Gratwhol, I parted with my B3 a long time ago, but I still have my Yamaha CP70
"portable baby grand" from my road days. I also still have a Moog Opus analog string and brass keyboard (and it works too). I don't gig much anymore, so my main keyboards in my little studio are my E-mu EIV and an M-audio controller.
