New to the forum

Have found you when trying to get info on a particular keyboard. You seem to be active unlike many Facebook groups that are out there.

I started young on a piano and progressed through onto a Hammond A100 and played in a club on a Hammond C3 (which I still think takes a lot to beat for the leslie sound). Then gave up everything electric and went back to pianos.

Got back into boards again about 20 years ago and have had many, technics and yamahas. Now though I have a Roland FA 08 and a Roland BK-5.

I have never really looked into Midi - so it something I am now trying to get into. Hopefully there will historic posts here that can help me to better understand it. I olny ever play for fun now with backing for the occasional singer at an event thrown in.

There is plenty of MIDI related posts here but if you do ask questions do include details of your Computer and its operating system as that can make quite a difference.

Google search on "MIDI for Dummies" and do a similar search on Youtube to wrap your head around the basics.

Once you know enough to ask specific questions we'll be here for you.
