Hi all,

Long time collector of keyboards here, can't play for toffee, but adore the 'retro machines of old.

Just picked up a Yamaha VSS30 and a Technica KN3000, both of which need some work (also grabbed Yamaha PSS280 that needs work).

So I'm hoping people can recommend good sites or videos on keyboard repair and perhaps a list of staple items/tools/spare parts I will need to start tackling the innards of these beasts.

I have no knowledge at all of fixing faults, but I'd love to get these machines back to tip top condition.

Obviously I'll end up asking a million questions later :)

Thank you kind folk!

Take a look at a few other broken keyboard threads here.

All the links you need have been posted many, many times.

Gary ;)
