Problem with k2600 blinking through programs

I just sold my trusty k2600. Customer says when he turns it on, the display continuously cycles through lists of programs and setups and he can't do anything to stop it other than cut the power. Any ideas on what the problem could be or any remedies?

I'd say check for stuck buttons on the front panel.

If that doesn't fix it then try the bootloader method for a hard reset.

That was exactly the problem! The + button was stuck down. Thank you so much - works great now!
