I'm trying to help a friend who has a Korg MicroX controller and a Yamaha Motif rack sound module. He wants to use the Korg as a controller for the sounds from the Motif. His aim is to be able to play some basic sounds from the Motif via the Korg, and he wants to be able to assign the Motif sounds to the bank buttons on the Korg so he only has one button to push to change sounds during a live performance. I played around with the Korg a bit today and figured out how to move different sounds to the different banks. I have read the manual, but I'm not sure I know how to assign the Motif sounds to the banks on the Korg, or trigger the Motif using the Korg bank keys.
