I have a Roland RD700 which I want to upgrade, I am considering either the Kurzweil PC3X or a RD700GX. I can't find a Kurzweil within 300miles to try out, so was hoping someone could give me some help or recommendation.
I need a good piano sound and piano feel in the keyboard, and the ability to layer sounds and on top - and vary their volumes while playing live. I also use strings, EPs and many other sounds; and for some gigs need the board to be a master controller (RD700 very limiting). 25kgs is enough to carry around, so probably not the yamaha CP300 but I'm open minded at the moment - any comments/suggestions would be appreciated
