Depends as well on where you live.

Do check on the cost of postage and insurance before you advertise, buy direct from the courrier instead of via a third party. I fell foul of this and it added a month to getting the claim resolved.

I am a big fan of Reverb.com. That is where I found my pre-owned Yamaha T5 for sale last year. The classifieds there are category specific so it's easy to quickly find what you are looking for. When it came time for me to purchase a quality monitoring system Reverb.com was again my answer. BTW all of my xlr cables and fake books came from there too. Yes.....I have sold a few items on Reverb as well. My equipment sold quickly and the process was simple. Good luck!
