USB buffer size

Hi everyone...what is usb buffer size? i see this setting in my ASIO panel..

You sure you're reading that right? Audio buffer size makes sense; what is a USB buffer?

yep..i know audio buffer..it has a USB buffer setting too

I'd imagine it's a buffer on the incoming data, though why you'd need that for USB is beyond me, unless you're using an audio interface with a very large number of inputs and/or outputs. What does the manual for your audio interface say about it?

the manual doesn't explain much about the USB buffer size..they have just given presets..
