VB3m crackling sound

I’m getting a subtle crackling sound when using the VB3m: anyone know how to fix this? It’s not overdrive. I also am not getting the crackling on the Korg module

Try a squirt of Deoxit contact cleaner on the pots.

Since you've ruled out overdrive, something else you may be noticing is the "key click" effect, which you can adjust.

Otherwise, crackling or other kinds of distortions/drop-outs when running an app can result from its buffer (latency) setting being too low. VB3m added the ability to adjust its latency settings with version 1.1 so make sure you're running that version (or greater), and try increasing that setting.

Id agree with the others, but have noticed when using it in to my MODX there can be a bit of resonance peakinga bit depdinging one how the Drawbars are set. This then overload’s the input momentarily.
