Which keyboard

Hi,

I've just bought a Yamaha PSR-9000 V2 on ebay for £380. I was originally looking at a MM6 for around £260. I want the most accurate acoustic sounds possible. Have I done the right thing?

Yamaha has good sound engines right across their lineup of Synth's

The only difference between the two you mentioned will likely be the available number of goodies and gizmos available on the board.

I think the PSR9000 may be a bit more limited in how deeply you can edit stuff, but for out of the box noises they're nice sounding units.

The PSR9000 is more of an arranger keyboard unlike the mm6 which is more of a synth based workstation. The MM6 does have some styles in built but the 9000 will be stronger overall if you play more of a one man band approach. The 9000 is still an amazing keyboard. I have a 9000 pro myself and find it particularly strong for piano, strings and general sounds.
