I have an xp 80 Roland keyboard. Trying to connect to Mac computer. I bought a Roland interface usb and connected to Mac. The interface has red lights. It is not going on. I shut the local switch to off. Need help on how to connect and want to use garage band.

The first thing to check would be to verify that the interface is connected correctly. If it's a MIDI-to-USB interface then the MIDI connector labeled "IN" needs to be connected to the XP-80's MIDI OUT port, and the MIDI connector labeled "OUT" needs to be connected to the XP-80's MIDI IN port.
