How to connect headphones on yamaha EZ300

hi, i'm new here, a complete novice, just bought a yamaha ez300. i would like to use headphones when practicing. i followed the instructions and used Function to get to MasterEQ, then 02Headphones.... However, it doesn't use headphones it comes out the speakers. i assume i'm supposed to press something to activate the setting but it doesn't say what to do in the instructions. Can anybody tell me?

Often with Yamaha kit the speaker has to be turned off in the OS Menu.

The Manual will or should detail where to look
