Nekter GX-61 question

Hi...I have a Nekter controller I use with my DAW. I also have a Roland JV-80 with a bad keyboard problem that I have been using a Yamaha keyboard to run when I need it..My question is,if I get a powered USB hub and a USB to MIDI cable will the Impact work on the Roland? Don't want to buy things I can't use for this....any help would be great....Thanks
