I've been trying to figure how to prevent the CK88 as master from sending program change messages to the slave CK61. I've turned all the program changes options to off both globally and in any potential live set zone, but the slave 61 keeps responding when I change a program on the master 88. (I need global midi since I am using that for other midi functions .) And, I think perhaps relevant to this topic - I'm trying to figure out zones which seem to be applicable to individual live sets, and/vs the midi settings that can made at a global level. I'm just not sure of the hierachy of these two programmable options - ie. do you need to bypass the global midi channels in order to have the zone settings (including midi channel designations, volumes, program changes on/off (my main issue), etc.. apply. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! I seemed to have stumped AI as well on the inability to turn off program changes.
