As a fellow Ninja, I had to reply.

I have had a Korg Workstation, Roland JV35 and now own a MicroKorg .

Vastly different machines, I loved all of them, but spent a lot of time reading manuals in the old days and looking at tutorials these days. The Roland had button interfaces, the Korgs have twiddly knobs , but both sound great. I preferred playing the Roland, but it WAS bigger and I am a large dude.

It's like asking the difference between BMW and Mercedes - both have good points, but what do you actually want to do?
