I have set up Mainstage with RD88 and try to decrease the volume on the internal sound but any knob that decrease the volume on the internal sound have effect on the mainstage volume as well.

Is there a question in that statement?

What you are describing is a feature. Not a bug.

Sorry, the question is if it’s possible to decrease the volume on keyboard sounds only and vice versa. I found a youtube video now that showed this but it doesn’t work.

You have the main volume knob on the left next to the MFX knob and on the right there are three knobs labelled as Level, where left to right it is Lower, Upper 2 and Upper 1, then there is the Mike knob. The three Lower, Upper 2 and Upper 1 should control the volumes, Page 13 of the manual refers.

If you think of these three as Mixer control and the main Volume as the output then that may help.

If the volume issue you have is with the backing rhythm patter then Page 19 shows how to adjust its volume.

If this is not what you seek then a more precise write up of your problem will be necessary for me to gain a further understanding of your issue.

I found it out now. I decreased the volume first on the knob for the keyboard sound and then turned up the volume for mainstage. If you press the shift you can change mainstage volume (knob 8). Also found a better sollution; I created a patch in RD88 with volume set to zero. Thats better if you want more volume out of the speakers. Thanks for helping!
