Chord MU25 USB MIDI Controller Keyboard

I am a beginner and have bought this keyboard as it was well-reviewed. I wanted something that was almost plug and play. However, I can't make it work either on Android or my PCs (Windows 8 and 10). It powers up but it doesn't play.

The manual is not at all clear and I cannot find Forum advice nor manufacturer support. I have download Cubase and an array of soft synths but the technical issues are too much.

Anyone got any advise about software to use and how to get it to connect?
