Does anyone use effects pedals with keyboards or is that just too old fashioned & clumsy? I am currently practicing on a simple Yamaha keyboard without MIDI or softsynth. As a learner I want to stick with the simpler setups. I had an Arion Digital delay pedal my son gave me & it sounded great, well now it is not working for some reason.
Either I'd like to learn what's wrong with this unit (I changed the battery etc), or else I'd like to find a delay pedal for sale. My question is can you use a guitar effects pedal for keyboards or is that a bad idea, and if so, what kinds of hardware effects would keyboard/synth players recommend?
