I THINK this is the next P-125? Still GHS (if it's not broken don't fix it; that action really is awesome), has the CFX and bosendorfer samples, mic input with gain, big speakers, looks like "pianist focused" rhythms and accompaniment (with full keyboard chord detection wooohoo!), line outs - haven't seen any pricing yet, but also has this synthesia looking falling note system built in which will probably drive the price up which is unfortunate. Have to wait and see, but at any rate . . . FINALLY!

Yikes! I was worried that the key lighting system would push the price of this up from the P-125 zone to the DGX670 zone - it's more than TWICE the price of a DGX.

Here's hoping that there is a P-135 coming . . .

Light up keys are a useless marketing feature.

There’s no substitute for study and practice.

Yikes, £1700

Are Yamaha serious? OK it has got 600+ voices and possible arranger features on what looks to be marketed as a LEARNER DP.

A DGX and an App would be far better value

My Grandson uses an App to have the lightstream leaning function, but he is not getting one of these for Christmas.

Thanks for sharing that super interesting! But for twice the price of a DGX? To me, easy choice - can buy a DGX for home/production, a P125 with identical action for gigs (half the weight) and still have hundreds of dollars left over …. Not sure how many of these Yamaha will sell…
