I'm in the market for a new keyboard for creating song ideas/concepts.
Needs to be a ROM synth and have a multi channel sequencer that is able to easily mute tracks on and off.
Similar keyboards i have to do this are a Roland JX-305 and an EMU XL-7.
I got the EMU XL-7 in hopes to fulfill my needs, but i really don't find the recording/sequencing section that user friendly, and it hinders my creation process.
The JX-305 has worked great for what i need, however it is slowly dying from the ever so famous "defective-ram-chip-curse."
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
